Santiam Buttes Farms’ bigleaf maple syrup is 100% natural, with just one ingredient - maple syrup. This natural sweetener is made by boiling the sap of Oregon’s native bigleaf maple tree. Boiling the sap removes the water, leaving only syrup behind. No additives are included in the process, making this delicious syrup an all-natural product. Our syrup is organic, vegetarian, and vegan friendly, and has many health benefits. 

Bigleaf maple syrup has a noticably different flavor than syrups made from other varieties of maple trees or from other parts of the country, much like tannins in wine.
